Christ is King
Welcome to Providence
It is our desire to be known for the gospel of Jesus Christ.
We believe that our Lord Jesus Christ, truly God and truly man, risen from the dead and now seated at the right hand of God the Father Almighty as King of all (Eph. 1:20–21), is worthy of a healthy and biblical church in Perryville, Arkansas.
Providence Baptist Church has been seeking to bring glory to Jesus by serving the people of Central Arkansas for over three decades. We are an elder-led, confessional Reformed Baptist church holding to the 1689 Second London Baptist Confession of Faith.
First time?
What to expect on a Sunday
Simple, Bible-shaped worship
Scripture reading and prayer, singing, catechism and confession reading, and a sermon that usually walks verse by verse through a book of the Bible.
Children welcome in worship
Families worship together in our main gathering. Little ones are a joyful noise to us, and a cry room is available if you need a moment.
No pressure
We won’t ask you to sign anything, stand up, or give. You’ll be greeted by friendly faces — and very likely invited to lunch.
Sermons
Hear God’s Word preached
Our sermons typically work verse by verse through books of the Bible. Catch up on recent messages from our pastors on our YouTube channel and on SermonAudio.
“All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations… And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”
Matthew 28:18–20
Providence Baptist Church exists to exalt our King.
We preach on the streets and knock on doors in Perryville, hand out gospel tracts, partner with like-minded churches in Mexico to help train pastors, and join with churches across Arkansas and beyond for fellowship and evangelism.
